Steve, this salute happened today in Challis, Idaho...how many others notice only three that I know of and that was only after I had notified them.

S.....Went by local sheriff's office today and notice many police rigs and right at 20 personnel with full battle gear for police..........Obvious MJTF (multi-jurisdictional task force) because of personnel from other counties, fish and feathers, forest ranger law enforcement,and all the reserve officers.

A.....Getting ready for an operation, standing around waiting on the word. At this same time an ST. Luke life flight chopper (the one without a tail rotor) landed at airport and stood standby (this has never been done before) the chopper stayed on the ground for over an hour.

L......Location for all this activity was the airport, local medical clinic, and the sheriff's office. I did not see them leave, but they went somewhere north on Hwy 93.

U..... As I stated it was obvious MJTF in action, whether it was a practice or something went down, I do not know at this time.

T......Between 1100 hrs and 1300 hrs 4/22/09

E..... equipment involved were right at 13 autos, trucks, 1 Helo, and full police riot gear minus helmets that I could not see..........arms were side arms, AK-47 (yeah can you believe that) and M-16 shorty's, vest.

Steve I do not know if this was an operation, drill or an operation...will keep my ears to the ground and let you know what I find out
