Buffalo, NY - - Did two of the September 11th hijackers spend some in Lackawanna? That's the claim from a private investigator who tracks terror-related information. News 4 Investigative Reporter Luke Moretti has information disputing that claim. He reports from Buffalo FBI headquarters with the latest.
Did two of the 9/11 hijackers turn up in Lackawanna in the summer of 2001? A private investigator says he's interviewed two people who claim they saw them.
Doug Hagmann says the connection was made after seeing their mug shots on TV.
One law enforcement source tells me there's no information to support that claim.
Hagmann is founder of the Northeast Intelligence Network. The agency tracks information related to terrorist activities.
He appeared on the Tom Baurle show on WBEN radio Friday morning.
Hagmann also claims the government foiled some type of nuclear event along the East Coast on July 15th. He says the information came from a federal source.
The source, according to Hagmann, told him a device was detonated near the continental shelf of the Atlantic Ocean. He even provided a seismograph chart depicting activity on July 15th.
But a law enforcement source tells me there's no credible information to support the claim.
