I put the following together in light of the recent back-to-back statements by SECDHS Tom Ridge on Thursday, July 8 and Dr. Paul L. Williams on FoxNews yesterday, July 9 regarding a possible major terrorist strike between now and the November election.
==========================================================
In a media statement for public consumption by the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge warned of an impending large-scale attack on the continental United States (CONUS) which was virtually devoid of any detailed information except to say that al-Qaeda was moving forward with plans to disrupt the American electoral process. Secretary Ridge acknowledged that specific information such as time, place and method of attack was currently unknown. However, Secretary Ridge did add that along with the CIA and the FBI his own Department of Homeland Security agency was "actively working to gain that knowledge".
Secretary Ridge seems to be saying that we face a grave threat, but... America, rest assured, we'll figure this out. I, for one, am not going to wager my next paycheck on his enthusiasm because I believe that elements within the US government have long known exactly what the threat is. They have known the method, (nuclear suitcase bombs) the time (prior to the upcoming election) and the place(s) (approximate to the top ten US cities) of the coming terrorist attack. In fact we have known about this specific threat to America since the eminently forgettable days of the Clinton Administration, but more on that later.
On the FoxNews channel yesterday afternoon Paul Williams the author of the new book "Osama's Revenge: The Next 9/11, What the Media and the Government Haven't Told You", claims that there are 20 suitcase nukes in CONUS and that 7-9 U.S cities will be struck at the same time.
A few points here:
First, Mr. Paul Williams is a former consultant to the FBI on organized crime and international terrorism. He is also a highly respected Ph.D. and author. This is the perfect tie in to the Red Mafiya, the Chechen Mafiya and al-Qaeda.
Second, is that Mr. Williams information closely coincides with that previously released by Josef Bodansky in his book "Bin Laden : The Man Who Declared War on America" .
Quote from Bodansky's book:
=====================================================================================
Quote:
"Although there is debate over the precise quantities of weapons purchased there is no longer much doubt that bin Laden has finally succeeded in his quest for nuclear suitcase bombs. Bin Laden's emissaries paid the Chechen's $30 million in cash and gave them two tons of Afghan heroin worth about $70 million in Afghanistan and at least ten times the (ie: $700 million) on the streets of Western Europe and the United States.
Evidence of the number of nuclear weapons purchased by the Chechen's for bin Laden varies between "a few" (Russian intelligence) to "more than twenty" (conservative Arab intelligence services)."

Third, to the specifics... Information I came into back in February of 2004 was not 20 nuclear weapons, but between 35 and 40 weapons on US soil. The Nuke search teams so publicly deployed last Christmas/New Years holiday season remain as the primary indicator of how seriously Uncle Sam regarded this information. Kudo's to the administration of george W. Bush for taking concrete actions in response to the threat.
I also received other direct and corroborative information from a source who worked within US and NATO nuclear planning. I was told point blank that the US lost the handle on foreign nuclear weapons back in 1993- and we still have not re-gained the full capability of accounting for enemy warheads.
I view Mr. Williams admission in his book and on FoxNews as corroboration of both of my sources as far as the information goes that indeed enemy tactical nuclear weapons are currently on US soil awaiting deployment a order.
In my opinion SECDHS Tom Ridge comments of yesterday are directly related to this potential, as is the current surge deployment of most of the U.S. Navy (Surface and Subsurface nuclear armed combatants) and the forward deployment of U.S. Air Force nuclear armed Stealth F-117's and B2's, B1's and other strategic assets. According to schedules available from GlobalSecurity.org the current surge deployment is at least 15 months pre-mature. Something major has triggered such a massive undertaking.
Connecting the dots.
General Alexander Lebed was an honorable and dedicated professional military man who addressed the truth about missing Russian nuclear weapons.
In May of 1997 General Lebed informed a private briefing of a delegation of U.S. congressmen that 84 of the one-kiloton bombs were unaccounted for.
General Lebed, in an interview taped for CBS News in August 1997 and which was nationally aired in the United States on 7 September 1997 as part of the 60 Minutes news program, said he now believed the figure to be more than 100.
General Lebed said he had began a study to report on the exact location of these weapons a year earlier while he was the National Security advisor to President Boris Yeltsin.
General Lebed was summarily fired on October 17, 1996 while President Yeltsin was awaiting heart surgery.
General Lebed was killed in the crash of an Mi-8 while the governor of Krasnoyarsk Region on April 29, 2002.
Deputy head of the Russian Parliamentary Defense Committee Alexei Arbatov said at the time that General Lebed had made many enemies and the crash might have been orchestrated by one of them.
This makes the death of General Alexander Lebed a highly probable assassination instead of a terribly tragic accident.
We all know very well what abject LIARS the hardcore Russian communist apparatchik are.
We all already know for a FACT that the Russian nuclear agency is on public record as saying "We don't know what General Lebed is talking about. No such weapons exist."
We also know that Congressman Curt Weldon (R-Pa) has said that the Russian government has officially acknowledged the existence of Russian-made suitcase nuclear weapons.
A lexei Yablokov, a Russian scientist who served on the Russian National Security Council stated that he personally knows individuals who produced these suitcase-size nuclear devices under orders from the KGB in the 1970s SPECIFICALLY FOR TERRORIST PURPOSES. As a result of their being produced for the KGB, Yablokov has stated that they may not have been taken into account in the Soviet general nuclear arsenal and may not be under the control of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Most of us know a lie when it is uttered. We also know a series of lies when they are cobbled together by the Russian government and by our own.
Most damning of all may be the lies that the Clinton administration offered regarding this whole situation for the unknowing American public to swallow hook, line and sinker. Consider the pronouncements of former-Clinton era State Department spokesman James Foley:
===================================================================================
Quote:
"The government of Russia has assured that it retains adequate command and control of its nuclear arsenal and that appropriate physical security arrangements exist for these weapons and facilities...
We have been assured by the Russian authorities that there is no cause for concern. We believe the assurances we have received...
(General Alexander Lebed's allegations carried) not a lot of credibility...we've been assured by the Russian authorities that there's no cause for concern."

In light of what I was told by my own source who was within the US/SHAPE/NATO nuclear planning group the above statements by James Foley are nothing short of abject lies of an unimaginable magnitude. Beginning in 1993, when the Clinton Administration took office, the agenda consisted of the wanton and systematic gutting of American military capability and intelligence collection. So much so that before the end of that year t he United States had "lost the handle" on accurate intelligence information on where enemy nuclear weapons were deployed and stored. According to my source we have to this date not re-acquired such intelligence capability and it might be some time before such capability is restored. This is, of course, assuming that we have the time to re-acquire such intelligence capabilities.
The repeated statements by Secretary Ridge and others are indicative that time is very, short. We are being told in the manner of non-committal government-speak to be prepared for the worst, that despite the best efforts of many dedicated Americans in the service of their country, we may not be able to stop every aspect of the planned attack.
I pray my gut feeling is wrong, but something major may be in the offing between Now and the Election, or roughly within the next 110 - 120 days.
Regardless... we should all be prepared for any eventuality in the strictest physical and spiritual sense.
One final note:
This assessment comes at a time when the statements of Secretary Ridge and Dr. Williams, while fresh in the mind, are currently being swept under the rug by all manner of mainstream media reporting about the Senate report on pre-War intelligence. It is my opinion that the timing of the release of this report is not accidental... it is intended to preoccupy your mind with conflicting information and cause you to doubt very thing you have read or been told concerning the intelligence gathering capability of the US. To some extent I have confirmed these short comings due to the actions of the previous administration (it borders on treason in my opinion). However, I also plead with you to re-read my Open Letter to President Bush: "27 May 2004 - An American 5th Column: A Plea to President George W. Bush" which is found on the Northeast Intelligence Network main page. Here is a direct link to it:

It appears to this writer that the "American 5th Column" is working overtime.
