Shipping Containers

September 25, 2003

How many terrorists, or even terrorist weaponry, have been smuggled into the United States via shipping containers or cargo ships prior to 9/11?  Perhaps the answer to that question may never be fully known - yet?

Securing national and international shipping ports against terrorism is an enormous task.  Every year nearly 900 tons of imported goods packed in almost 8 million cargo containers enter United States' ports.  Inspection of each and every cargo and shipping container entering the U.S. presents an almost insurmountable task.  In addition, every year U.S. ports welcome thousands of international visitors arriving on cruise-ships, passenger ferries, and other means/opportunities for port access.  Many oil refineries and petroleum-related industries are also strategically located in U.S. sea ports.  Their locations create other possible dangers from terrorist infiltration and attacks.  U.S. Customs and the Coast Guard are already overwhelmed by the sheer volume of traffic entering the over 105 U.S. ports-of-entry.

According to the Council on Foreign Relations, it is quite "possible a terrorist could smuggle weapons of mass destruction into the United States through a U.S. port."  (2)  Security has been tightened since 9/11, including the establishment of The Department of Homeland Security with The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, prescreening done by the Container Security Initiative, and the implementation of radiation detection equipment used to scan a shipping containers' cargo.  Also, according to govexec.com, the installation of a Defense Department tracking system equips cargo containers with "radio-frequency identification" notifying port authorities of any unauthorized tampering before they reach U.S. ports.  (3)

Perhaps, the greatest concern should be "who, or what, has already entered the U.S. via open borders, cargo ships, or shipping containers?"  According to the same article from govexec.com, Mark Nelson, a spokesman for Savi Technology, states, "The big concern is that terrorists will put a bomb or a chemical--or even themselves--into one of these containers...."(4)

In May of 2002, Fox News gave some indication of just how dangerous suspected smuggling operations via cargo containers could be to the United States' security when it was reported that 25 Islamic extremists entered the U.S. as stowaways on cargo ships through ports in Miami, Savannah, and Long Beach.  A recent Rand Corporation report also warned of Al Qaeda terrorists who might use container ships in terror attacks with the intent "to cause massive casualties."(5)  Also, ABC News' asked the question "How Safe Are Our Borders?" in an investigation where reporters passed a (non-dangerous) depleted uranium-filled pipe through U.S. Customs.  (6)

In 2001, The Lampholder Publications Newsletter covered various aspects on possible "waves of terrorism" targeting the United States.  One aspect of this wave-of-terror was further revealed in an article dated February 28, 2002.  It was a prophetic vision on cargo and shipping containers, and the article was entitled, "Toxicity."  In this prophetic vision, the contents were "the real thing."  The Lampholder prophecy indicated a present-day scenario.  The meaning was all too clear - the vision revealed the contents to be already within the U.S., and also, according to the prophetic vision, placed in various locations around the world.  (The prophetic vision confirms random reports of dirty bombs and suitcase nukes "already" hidden somewhere.)

The following are some of the key pieces between the ABC investigation and what The Lampholder prophetic puzzle revealed -

- train station
- shipping container
- suitcase
- steel pipe
- hidden
- secret journey
- toxicity
- truck bed
- New York City

The excerpts (below) are from the February 28, 2002, prophetic vision originally contained in the post-World Trade Center prophecy of September 14 through November 2001, and read as follows:

January 20 and February 28, 2002
from The Lampholder Newsletter Prophecy Alert

The following are two very short prophecy visions along with the dates the prophecies were revealed. The prophecies may be symbolic and/or pictures depicting actual events. At this point, I will not attempt to interpret the meaning of the prophecies, but simply reveal them on the date as they were given....

January 20, 2002
...The first portion of the prophetic picture contained a large envelope/odd-shaped package wrapped in packaging paper and loaded onto a long conveyer belt. The conveyer belt was not made of one long piece of material, but appeared to have shiny, rounded, parallel metal bars hooked together one after another [the type where a package could be pushed or rolled along the bars without much effort].

In the vision, I viewed the conveyer belt at the far end after the package had been loaded and watched while the package moved on towards its destination. The package looked ordinary and moved along the conveyer belt without much notice by workers around it. It had a label I could not read because of the distance, but no return address. I had no indication of where it originated nor where it was going, only the revelation that the contents of the object on the conveyer belt was a part of this prophecy alert. All that was prophetically sensed was that the package was for someone of importance.  Because of its vagueness, I hesitated even revealing this portion of the prophecy; that is, until the second part of the prophecy emerged.

February 28, 2002

The second part of the prophecy vision appeared in the form of a short or mini-movie. with a train car, truck or flatbed type of vehicle with aged, dark-brown, wooden boards on the floor. The prophetic vision was in the rear location, or back end of the flatbed, so naturally from this viewpoint, it was difficult to discern what was located at the front end.

The flatbed carrier was not moving and held 7 or 8 barrels that were in the process of being unloaded. The barrels were large, heavy metal containers, holding an unidentified liquid, with a round metal cap attached and covering the top. The lid on one of the barrels had been loosened while in travel, and when it was tilted slightly during unloading, a thick liquid oozed out of the top of the barrel falling onto the ground below. The liquid was two colored - thick, dark [perhaps] green in places and clear in other areas. It appeared to be separate colors but made of one substance - similar to a can of paint before the colors were mixed together.

There was a slight haze in the chilly, evening air similar to a foggy evening just after a rainfall. When the liquid dripped from the container, it splashed into a muddy pool of water on the ground. Immediately, the puddle began to spurt and bubble profusely.

The barrels were being carefully removed during the evening, or early morning hours, by men wearing dark blue jackets. It was obvious the vision occurred for the time-period during the winter months when the weather was colder. The men also wore dark, woolen-type caps, masks that covered the nose and mouth, and thick, working gloves. When the container spilled over into the puddle, one man appeared ill, and stumbled backward overcome by the fumes coming from the liquid. The mysterious contents of the barrels signaled danger. They appeared to contain a toxic, very dangerous chemical that grew even more dangerous, when agitated by the mixing with water. This I do not understand.

Somehow the January 20th prophecy and the February 28th prophecy are related.
